What are the Club’s facilities?
• Seven artificial of which four are TigerTurf with the latest LED lighting - plus three hardcourts and a practice wall. 
• JWTCoaching provides a team of LTA accredited coaches with an excellent choice of programmes for all ages and abilities. 
• Clubhouse with large screens to watch live sports including members’ bar, kitchen, meeting room and changing rooms with showers.

What standards of play do you cater for?
We cater for beginners who have never picked up a racket, those coming back after a break, plus experienced players of all levels.

What are your playing times?
Courts are available every day of the week from 8am till 10pm.

How do I join?
Visit our membership page and select your preferred package. You can also email our Membership Secretary who will answer any questions you might have, and if you wish, invite you down to see the Club for yourself. Email members@atc.tennis

How much are your membership fees?
Please refer to our Membership page. Membership year runs from 1 April to 31 March but with pro-rata fees available for people joining mid-year to take them to the end of the financial year.

I’m new, how do I meet other players? 
The best way is to come to our Club Nights (Tuesday and Friday evenings from 18:00 - 21:00) where we will be delighted to meet you and show you round. We are a very friendly bunch!

Can I bring guests to play?
Yes. Guests are welcome to play in an arranged pair or 4 as well as social sessions. There is a guest book to record the visit and a fee of £5 per guest is payable, this is the member’s responsibility. Non-club members are limited to 3 visits after which they will be asked to join if they wish to continue to play.

Can I join as a non-playing member?
Yes. You can join as a Social Member for full access to the clubhouse, bar and attend our various social events throughout the year.

I have a question about the Club, who should I contact?
The easiest way to contact the Club is e-mail info@atc.tennis and we’ll direct it to the appropriate person to make sure your enquiry is dealt with promptly.

How do I book a court?
You can book a court via the Booking page on the website. You need to be registered with ClubSpark to book, if not, you can join here. Join Clubspark  You can also download and use the Booker App:  Download to iOS       Download to Android

How many days in advance can I book? 
As a fully paid up member, you are able to book 14 days in advance.

As a non-member, how much is it to book a court?
If you are a non-member,  the cost is £10 for an hour.

NB: Junior members aged 10 years and under must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or a nominated adult. Those aged 11 to 14 years do NOT need to be accompanied on the courts up to 6.30pm.

What happens if I have to cancel my booking?
As a non-member having already booked a court, if you cancel more than 24hrs from your booking, a refund will be automatic within 7 working days. Less than 24hrs is at the discretion of the club. If you arrive at the court and they are dangerous due to bad weather ie slippery with snow, frost or waterlogged etc, you may request a refund. 

Is coaching available?
This is provided by JWT Coaching. Please see the Coaching page on the website for details.

Do I need to be a member to have lessons?
No, but members do pay a slightly lower price. 

Can I get advice on what equipment is best to buy for myself or my child?
Yes. JWT Coaching runs a pro shop for all your needs.

Do you restring rackets?
Yes. A full restringing service is available. James, our head coach, can give you advice on the right type of string and tension which will suit you.

Can I play in the league?
We are always delighted to welcome new league players. Please view our About Us page where you will see the contact details for the Men’s and Ladies teams.

How do I get into the courts?
The gates have number-coded padlocks. You’ll be given the code when you join.  NB: Please close the gate behind you. If you are the last to leave at night, please check all gates are closed and locked.

How do the floodlights work?
They are turned on and off manually. The switchbox is just inside the entrance to the clubhouse.

Can I do anything to help?
Absolutely! We always welcome an extra pair of skilled hands with the day to day running of the club.
