Aylesbury Tennis Club is a fun, friendly and family-focused tennis club in the heart of Aylesbury. We’re a not-for-profit club, run by members for members, and supported by a committed team of volunteers with a wide range of professional and community experience.
From the moment you join, you’ll find a warm welcome and a club that helps you enjoy tennis in the way that suits you best - whether that means learning the basics, improving your matchplay, playing competitively, or simply enjoying a hit and a drink with friends afterwards.
Tennis for every level
We’re proud to offer some of the area’s best organised tennis, with a thriving coaching programme and regular opportunities to play.
• All abilities welcome — from complete beginners to experienced club players
• Coaching for juniors and adults — from grassroots to performance level
• Regular organised sessions — including weekly tennis mornings, club evenings and tournaments
• Competitive tennis — with an active team structure throughout the year
If you’re new to the club (or returning after a break), we’ll help you find the right sessions and the right people to play with, so you can settle in quickly.
Our facilities
Aylesbury Tennis Club has ten courts and great off-court facilities to make your time here welcoming and comfortable.
• 10 courts in total - 7 artificial courts plus 3 hard courts
• LED floodlighting - on Courts 1–7 for year-round evening tennis
• Practice wall
• Changing and shower facilities
• Clubhouse with a fully licensed bar - where members can socialise, catch up, or watch live sport on TV

We offer a full range of membership options for adults, juniors and families, making it easy to choose a package that fits your lifestyle and how often you want to play.
Competitive Tennis
For those who relish competition, we have 18 teams representing the club in the Bucks Shield and the Aylesbury District League.

Box Leagues
Our Box League is up and running, well attended and very popular — a great way to play more matches, meet new opponents and track your progress.
The league is run through the LTA. Players will need to log in using their LTA details.
