Aylesbury Tennis Club was fortunate enough to be chosen to host this regional competition. It took place over the weekend of 27-28 April.

The competing counties were Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, Hampshire & IOW, Kent and South Wales. Despite very chilly and damp weather, all the girls put on an amazing display of tennis. Our kitchen was very busy with a team of member volunteers serving tea, coffee, cakes, toasted sandwiches and other nibbles.

The tournament was expertly run by referee Angela Davey. As can be seen by the photos, all the girls really battled hard and played some amazing shots spurred on by their coaches.

The final placings were:
